Service
Incarnation is dedicated to following in the footsteps of Jesus by serving our community. Throughout the year our school hosts various service projects to raise money and collect goods for those in need. In addition to schoolwide service projects many grades take on service projects of their own to help the community. This includes our Early Childhood program making cards for nursing home residents, our 5th grade makes meals for those in need, and our Jr. High weaving blankets for infants. Below you will find several examples of service projects taken on by students, faculty, and families.
Our Crusaders in Action
Pink Ribbon GoodEvery year Incarnation collects money for Pink Ribbon Good, an organization that gives money to breast cancer research. Students have the opportunity to purchase a tattoo, a bracelet, or have their hair braided and all proceeds go to this organization. This is not only an opportunity to give back to the community but also builds our school community through the collaboration of students and teachers.

Catholic Schools Week Food DriveDuring Catholic School Week our student body brings in various canned goods and donations for those in need. At the end of the week, during our school pep rally, all the canned goods are counted and various students from every grade bring in a chain that is representative of all the donations. Our students routinely bring in thousands of canned goods for those in need.

Mats for the HomelessDuring their final years at Incarnation our Jr. High students learn about the practical applications of their faith by looking at the social teachings of the church. Students complete many different service projects in order to serve their community and help the poor and vulnerable. In this particular project, students weaved grocery bags together to provide sleeping mats for those in need.

Shoe Drive for Grahn, KentuckyEvery year Incarnation gathers shoes and other winter essentials for the families in Grahn Kentucky. This efforts lasts several weeks and involves all grade levels across the school. Once the drive is over a group of Incarnation 8th graders, along with several staff member and teachers, pack up all the supplies and bring it to Grahn. These students are able to meet some of the people and see the community that they are helping.
